Edition Notes
Stillwater is the first edition the studio has released as a print — and the first piece chosen for the public archive. A wide horizontal painting of trees on dark water at the last hour of light, worked in oil and mixed media over a period of weeks.
The painting was scanned at 1.2 gigapixel before any reproduction work began. The print edition is made as a giclée on Moab Anasazi premium matte canvas — a heavy archival cotton chosen specifically for the way it carries brushstroke and paint depth, so the print holds onto the warmth and weight of the painting it came from. One hundred of these will exist. There will not be a No. 101.
